The London Fashion Week Catwalk Show

Our finalists’ catwalk show on the second day of London Fashion Week was a fabulous culmination of months of hard work over the summer. The great and the good of the London Fashion scene graced 8 Northumberland for a night of celebration as FYODOR GOLAN were crowned our 2011 winners.

It is upon us!

17th September 2011 is the night of nights for FYODOR GOLAN, HEIDI LEUNG and NABIL NAYAL, Fashion Fringe’s finalists.

They have been working on their collections throughout the summer, with a little help from the London College of Fashion experts and Fashion Fringe mentors, to create 3 stunning and diverse capsule collections. The collections will be showcased on the catwalk as part of the official schedule of London Fashion Week, at 8 Northumberland, a stones throw from our home and the mecca of London Fashion, Covent Garden.

Who will be handed the trophy, esquisitly designed by Jessica McCormack, at the end of the night…?

2010

The much talked about Fashion Fringe Event 2010, which marked the return of John Galliano to London Fashion Week, was held in a flashing light, balloon filled (6500 to be precise) Flower Cellars, in the heart of Covent Garden.

Guest were welcomed with champagne & chambord, delicious funkin’ cocktails and devoured canapés fromWagamama before decending the hot pink carpet to the catwalk.

Alice Palmer, Corrie Nielsen and Jade Kang presented their collections of contrasting style and heritage to a 500 strong audience of trade guests including long time follower Nicola Roberts, Atrid Munoz, Joan Burnstein and Elizabeth Saltzman.

After the show the party started whilst John Galliano, being the only judge, selected the winner – Corrie Nielsen – who recieved the diamond studded award created by Jessica McCormack - to a rapturous applause and said “I am totally overwhelmed. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can’t wait to get my business up and running and make beautiful clothes.”
